This article is mostly a list of pointers to resources that were useful to setup a ppp connection on my Debian system, using my K610i Sony Ericsson phone, connected through bluetooth.
I've used this HOWTO to setup a "gprs" ppp connection : http://wiki.clug.org.za/wiki/GPRS_Internet_over_Bluetooth
What I had to adapt was the channel for DUN connection :
Channel : 2
And the APN number :
*99***1#
Next, I use gpppon or simply pon from the command-line.
Update 2008/06/30 :
- The APN may need to be
*99***4#
maybe... - Using gnome-ppp helps setup all the connection parameters
- Also, configuring the bind mode to on for rfcomm0 in /etc/bluetooth/rfcomm.conf helps connecting withouth the need for any tty.

Sony Ericsson K610i and GNU/Linux
